Our multi-award winning training is endorsed by the General Medical Council and Royal College of General Practitioners SLF. It is recognised by Health Education England and NHS Employers as a nationally scaling programme.
Our SCARS communication framework is an easy to use mnemonic to help professionals structure their conversations. We developed SCARS specifically to help provide professionals with a structure to empower them when they find themselves in a difficult consultation and to ensure crucial aspects of good communication are not missed. SCARS presents as an ‘aide memoire’ with each letter acting as a prompt to the suggested stages that a difficult conversation can follow. See more details about our upcoming workshops.
Participants report our SCARS framework to be extremely useful to help their confidence having difficult conversations.
